Lets imagine you have the gift of reading minds, and feeling emotions. I would imagine such a gift would become overwhelming. After all, our minds are constantly on full throttle with things to do, people to meet, kids to raise and bills to pay.
Even though we face many life issues, we should strive daily to encourage one another. The Apostle Paul put it this way in 1Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” A kind word offered in sincerity will keep a friend or stranger from falling into a sense of hopelessness due to the burdens of life.
Take a moment to reflect upon your day with one simple question, did I encourage someone today? If not, you have an opportunity in Christ to make a good impression where you failed. Make someone’s day by taking the time to encourage one another. You won’t regret it.
