Thought for the day

be-still-and-know-that-I-am-GodWhen God is silent, our faith is being tested; hope is deferred and patience is being renewed. Therefore, imitate God’s silence as you meditate on his word to receive direction for your destiny. – Lionel Sneed

  1. OH wow! I was thinking about that verse Hope deferred makes the heart sick last night. I love that one! But you are right about silence. You know that verse, “He never breaks a bruised reed?” I love that verse and also “He will restore the years the locust have eaten.” Wow as I share this I am thinking that when I first fell in love with that verse my girl was 6 and you know what? He’s done it! He truly has. Wow how cool is that? I’m so glad God places folks in our lives to bounce things off of each other!
I will confess that God is silent with me because I am over where I shouldn’t be and I know it! What a dummy! I’m like the kid you tell not to do something because you know it will hurt them and they do it anyway then come crying when they are hurt! No wonder my girl is like she is, she’s like her mother! Wow so now I feel empowered to slap myself! KIDDING! 😀

    • Your welcome. Sorry about the multiple tweets of the same post. I was using Hootsuite and for some reason the auto scheduled posting did multiple postings. Don’t think I will be using that any time soon.
