Thought for the day

cropped-lionel-sneed-ministries1.jpg“Often times all we see in life is our failures because our successes do not fit the image we imagined or petitioned God for. Beloved, remember God’s plans for His children are always above and beyond all we could ever ask or imagine. Trust in and wait on His good and perfect will.” – Pastor Lionel

  1. Pastor Sneed, thanks for the encouragements of your posts. I did have 2 prayer requests, but couldn’t find where to properly enter them.
    1. My wife is turning 50, and it’s a hard one for her. She’s a beautiful woman inside and out, but feels her beauty and youth fading. Will you pray that she gains more solidity in her eternal value in Christ, and any other revelations the HS has for her?
    2. Will you pray that I am faithful to my calling to “praythroughhistory”, and that I find the next career the Lord has for me? I’ve been a professional musician for about 23, but put it down to be available to family. I worked w/ Target Global photography for years, but injured out of my job in 2015. I did heavy labor on their shoots, and am healed, but don’t have the muscle control to do my old job. Since then, I’ve been driving Uber to cover the nut, and writing intercession as much as possible. I can see G-d in all these temporary setbacks, but feel like my ability to dream for the future is hampered. I want to receive and act on the dreams He’s given, but am not sure what I want. thanks! James

    • Thank you for the kind words my friend! I am lifting you and your wife up prayer with the solidarity of God’s words stating that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. That God always works out all things for our good. And the marvelous promise of Psalms 32:8 which says, “I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.” We are made in His image which is the image of perfection. The Father looks at His children and He says, “It is good, it is very good! In regards to inputting a prayer request, please see the tab at the top of my page that says “Prayer Request” or look for the link at the bottom of all my post asking for prayer request. Finally my friend, I pray that each post will encourage you as you move closer to having more revelation to God’s amazing grace.

      Grace to you,

      Pastor Lionel
