Thought for the day

“The next time the enemy paints a picture in your mind or whispers a lie that God doesn’t love you or is punishing you, just remember the following scriptures:

  1. John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
  2. Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  3. Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God. who loved me and gave himself for me.
  4. Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, evenwhen we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—
  5. 1 John 4:9-11 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
  6. Job 34:19 who shows no partiality to princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor,  for they are all the work of his hands?
  7. Psalm 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.
  8. 1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
  9. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
  10. John 13:34-35  A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.  By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

  1. If all these Bible scriptures are true then why am I being bullied at work? Why am I so sick that I can barely eat? My digestive system doesn’t work well.

Why am I no longer able to see my brother Stephen? Have not seen him since May. Since I don’t drive and have been almost always sick since summer started we are separated. Stephen is being punished also since I can’t do what I used to do easily.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong?

There must be a reason or a cause.

    • My friend, Jesus…yes Jesus said it best in John 16:33 ehen he said, “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

    • You haven’t done anything wrong nor is God angry with you. Life is what it is and even Jesus wasn’t immuned to the sting of life. However, He showed us how to live this thing call life and hpw hpw tp have a mine set of victory. You are an overcomer even when you don’t feel like it simply because you are one with Christ and He is victorious for this generation and all generations to come.

      • I spoke to the guys manager and my manager.
Happy to say that he nearly got beat up by a guard because fool sprayed cleaning solution on his food.
I’m not afraid of him. I’m afraid of what I might do to him if he confronts me in the hood. I have a bad temper and a short fuse. Yes at work I will be calm. Keep my cool because I need to retire but outside of the job anything goes by any means necessary. Trying to bully a veteran is a bad decision on his part until the other men at work beat the living daylights out of him. Trust me since we both live in a rough neighborhood I’m prepared to defend myself.

      • Despite all the anger and frustration I feel inside I’m always pro me. I’m not that meek timid little girl that I once was. Actually I’ve reached the end of my rope my breaking point but once I get fed up then life moves forward. My definition of positive is anger because I lose my patience and forces my hand.
I have horns holding up my halo and I don’t care.

      • I totally understand how you feel my friend. The world knows how to tear down. However, my heart and goal of this ministry is to build up and reveal to everyone who they are in Christ, how much He loves them, and just how powerful they are in Christ.
